STARFISH
STROKE SCHOOL
Keiki stroke 1:
Will be divided into two age groups; SeaStar and StarFish to
help the instructor better pace the class. Students must
have completed Green level in swim school.
Keiki stroke 2:
Must be able to swim 50 yards, any stroke...style not
important...no stopping/no fins/no kickboard
Keiki Stroke 1 to emphasize more in freestyle and
backstroke.
Keiki Stroke 2 to emphasize more in breastroke and butterfly
and no fins
Jr. Swim Club
participants will continue to earn patches following Stroke
School benchmarks. The focus of the Jr. Swim Club is to
develop the endurance and basic competitive skills of the
participants so that they are ready when they want to try
out for team (in order to compete), while incorporating the
“fun” of group swim lessons
