ALOHA EWA BY GENTRY OHANA
WELCOME TO THE THOMAS
H. GENTRY COMMUNITY CENTER
Individual homeowners or
families residing within any Ewa by Gentry sub division (i.e. Breakers,
Carriages, Trovare, Alii Court, Huelani, etc.) are eligible to join the
Thomas H. Gentry Community Center. To qualify, your lot must currently
be “in good standing” (no unresolved covenants violations or delinquent
Ewa by Gentry Community Association dues,) and remain so at all times
for uninterrupted access to the facility.
For those of you
renting your home - In addition to a registration request form, you
need to also submit a completed “Assignment
of Owner” form along with a copy of your current lease
agreement. In signing this form, the homeowner is transferring his/her
privileges to you, the tenant, and is giving up his/her rights of use.
Only one registration application per lot is accepted. Important
Note: The Association’s relationship is only with homeowners, not
tenants. This is why we must receive written notice to transfer
privileges to anyone who is not the legal owner of an EbGCA lot or
unit. Homeowners, you are the party accountable to the association
both legally and financially with regard to family members, guests and
tenants.
If you purchased your home within the last six
months please call us at 685-0111 ext. 31, and we will verify receipt of your
closing documents.
The Thomas H. Gentry
Community Center is a private EbGCA facility that was gifted to the
association by the developer, Gentry Homes. The consensus of the
community (by multiple surveys) was to operate this facility
“pay-as-you-go” and in whole, fund operations with generated revenue.
This is the reason the privilege of use is only extended to residents
who are registered dues-paying members of the THGCC. A personal
Pool & Security Pass is required for all persons seven (7) years of age
and older. Children 6 and under may come with a registered adult
(18 years of age and older) for free. Guests are only permitted at
the facility during pavilion rentals.

GUESTS ARE NOW ALLOWED!
Guests must be accompanied at all
times by an EbGCA Adult sponsor (18 years and older) to gain access and
remain at the Thomas H. Gentry Community Center facility. Any
member who fails to remain on the premises with an invited guest shall
forfeit the privilege to use the facility for the day and the guest(s)
will be required to leave the premises. Repeat offenses may result
in the deactivation of guest cards and loss of guest privileges.
Guest card privileges include six (6)
guest punches with no expiration date for the cost of $30. Each card comes with one
daily visit and can be used only during posted open swim hours.
Homeowners and renters may purchase additional guest cards for $30.
All guests, regardless of age, are
required to access the facility with their sponsor and show their guest
pass card at the gate entrance.
Guest cards will be allowed only
Monday through Friday during operating hours when recreational open swim
time is scheduled.
Resident/homeowner member with guest
must report to the office during office hours to get their card punched
in exchange for a color coded wristband prior to entering the pool area.
The guest must read and sign the
rules and liability waiver, and can be told to leave any time that they
fail to uphold the rules or correct their behavior.
Guests under the age of 7 must wear a
wristband, but it will be given at no charge.
All guests must wear this color coded
wristband at all times in order to enter and remain in the facility, and
will be told to leave if refusing to do so.
If the pool occupancy reaches maximum
capacity with patrons, then resident members have priority and guests
will have to leave the premises, excluding any pavilion rental guests.
HOUSE GUEST PASSES
If you have a family
member visiting and residing in your residence for a week or more, you
may purchase a Houseguest pass for them (see last link below.) The
fee is $15 for the photo ID and up to one month of access. Up to
three (3) additional months may be purchased in a year at a cost of $5
per month.
How much does it cost to become a member of the EbGCA
community center so that you may use the swimming pool and rent the
pavilions for your next party? It's only $40 a year for the
first member of the household (see note below), $15.00 a year for each additional
member, AND children under 7 years of age is FREE.
