The Community Watch Team (CWT) works with the Ewa by Gentry Community
Association to ensure that the Ewa by Gentry community is the best
possible place to live and raise our families.
We conduct around the clock patrols of the Ewa by Gentry Community and report
suspicious behavior and other related matters to the appropriate authorities as
needed.
We also maintain an updated list of abandoned vehicles in our community and work
with the proper authorities to have these eyesores removed as soon as possible.
Working closely with the City & County Parks Department, we open and close
GEIGER PARK at the appointed times.
We watch for situations requiring police assistance and whenever possible
furnish information that may be helpful to the investigation. One of our primary
functions is to establish and maintain positive relations within the
community. CWT has YOUR interests at heart. We are the EYES & EARS of YOUR
COMMUNITY.
The CWT provides a workable platform at the community level for coordination
and liaison of the Neighborhood Security Watch (NSW) programs. NSW is a vital
program for the welfare of our Community, engaging the assistance of homeowners
and residents to work together to "take back" their community whenever person or
property crimes, graffiti, or evidence of narcotics activities prevail.
Homeowner and resident involvement is a crucial component of the "eyes and ears"
aspect of the CWT's mission. With crime on the increase, homeowner and resident
involvement contributes to maximum prevention, which is what NSW is all about.
We are not a "security" service. We do not make arrests, nor do we confront
persons disturbing the peace, and do not intercede in domestic disputes. We do
not pick up or otherwise dispose of stray animals. We CAN NOT CALL THE POLICE
FOR YOU.
If you have any questions or tips for our Community Watch Team, please email

pursued.
